Dr Karen Wong
BDSc (Hons) MDSc (Qld) MRACDS (Endo)
ENDODONTIST
After two decades with a leading Australian endodontic group, and academic roles in Queensland, Dr Wong has proved herself a strong advocate for leading endodontic care. As joint founding partner of myEndodontist, she is dedicated to achieving the best results for patients and referring dentists.
Karen graduated with Honours from University of Queensland School of Dentistry in 1997 and worked as a general dentist before completing a Master of Endodontics in 2002.
She is very active in advancing the standards of endodontic care in Australia and has been a senior lecturer, supervisor of postgraduate endodontic students and examiner at the University of Queensland. More recently she has been a guest lecturer for endodontic students at Griffith University. Karen is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists. She is the current President of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Queensland).
Karen was born in Hong Kong but grew up in Australia and, as a result, is fluent in English and Cantonese with a good understanding of Mandarin. She enjoys travel, reading, music and fine cuisine.

Dr Laureen Roh

ENDODONTIST
A founding partner of myEndodontist, Dr Roh had her own endodontic practice in California for 20 years and moved to Australia in 2018. She was a specialist with a major Queensland endodontic group before embracing the opportunity to advance endodontic care through an independent practice.
Dr Roh attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University in Chicago in 1991 and graduated as an endodontist from the University of Southern California in 1995. She ran her own successful endodontic practice in La Habra California from 1997 to 2018, and also volunteered as an endodontist for the Orange County Children’s Dental Center in Orange, California.
Her combined experience gives her exceptional insight into a wide range of complex endodontic challenges as well as the additional breadth of knowledge from working in the USA where dental standards are amongst the best in the world.
She is a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology (Queensland branch) and an international member of the American Association of Endodontists.
Laureen speaks English and Korean. She lives with her husband George, also an endodontist, and enjoys hiking, travelling, reading and snowboarding.

Dr George Bogen

ENDODONTIST
A leading endodontic academic and consultant to myEndodontist, Dr Bogen divides his time between being a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator in Endodontics at University of Queensland and offering specialist services at myEndodontist. He is an internationally-recognised expert in the emerging field of Vital Pulp Therapy.
Dr Bogen graduated with a dental degree in 1978 and his certificate in endodontics in 1995, both from the University of Southern California. He has held lecturing positions in the USA and also had a private endodontics practice in Los Angeles from 1995 to 2018. He has contributed numerous research articles to the International Endodontic Journal and other leading publications and text books.
As a past secretary and trustee of the American Association of Endodontists Foundation and currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for the Journal of Endodontics and other leading endodontic bodies, he is an international thought-leader in endodontic science and practice.

Dr Christine Peters
DMD
ENDODONTIST
Dr Christine Peters is Senior Lecturer in Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Dr Peters received her degree in dentistry from the University of Heidelberg, Germany in 1992 and held a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry from 1992 until 1996. From 1997 to 2004, Dr Peters worked as Assistant Professor in the Division of Endodontics at University of Zurich, Dental school, where she completed her postgraduate endodontic training in 2001.
Starting in 2001, Christine worked at the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco, from 2012 on as Professor of Endodontology.
In 2020, Christine moved to Brisbane, Australia, and accepted a position as Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland School of Dentistry. Christine teaches and lectures in the undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic field, provides continuing education courses and maintains her registration to practice as endodontic specialist. Her research includes dental materials testing in the field of endodontics, treatment outcomes and clinical studies on treatment methodologies in endodontics.
Dr Peters has published in textbooks and peer-reviewed journals and lectured both nationally and internationally. She serves on the review panel of several endodontic journals, including the Journal of Endodontics and the International Endodontic Journal. Christine is a member of OKU, past president of the Northern California Academy of Endodontics and secretary of the Queensland branch of the Australian Society of Endodontology.
